Every person who walks through the doors at both worship site of All Saints parish should feel like they’re at home. Our greeters and ushers help make that happen.
While we all have a role to play in welcoming every person who enters our doors, the greeters and ushers take that role in a special way. They are generally the first person that parishioners meet upon entering either St. Isaac Jogues or St. Martha church, and set a welcoming tone for our parish. They are one of the faces of our churches during Mass as they handle the collections, offer assistance to parishioners as needed, and thank parishioners for coming at the end of Mass as they distribute parish bulletins. Because of this, we are always on the lookout for hospitable, welcoming, friendly people who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every person who enters feels welcome, comfortable, and cherished. We welcome men and women, high school age and older for this ministry. If you are interested, please talk to one of the greeters/ushers after Mass or email the rectory at [email protected]. |
