![]() In 2015 all churches of the Archdiocese of Chicago participated in the “To Teach Who Christ Is” pledge campaign. Each church was assigned a donation goal and each church developed a “case study” with input from parishioners and finance committees to identify exactly how the funds that were raised would be used. The funds were then to be used for the projects identified in their case studies. Both St. Martha (approx. $75K) and St. Isaac Jogues (approx. $65K) have funds remaining in their TTWCI accounts. All projects specifically identified in the St. Martha case study were completed except the addition of air conditioning in the large church which had a cost in excess of $250K at that time. After working with Archdiocesan facilities project managers and securing proposals for all projects, the pastor, finance committee and parishioners decided to proceed with the other projects which included adding the movable café wall, air conditioning in the small church and pine room and updating the kitchen in the pine room. We are proposing that we use the remaining St. Martha funds to complete the flooring renovation project in the small church along with completion of minor reconfiguration and safety updates. We are planning to begin the 2-3 month project after Easter. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email [email protected]. Comments are closed.
